Arkema has proactively developed cost-effective, convenient technology for fuel tanks. These tanks combine the cost efficiency of PE with the long-trusted fuel barrier performance of Rilsan® PA 11.
Petro-SealTM technology is a system of creating multi-layer tanks with an inner barrier layer of Rilsan® PA 11 resin and an outer shell of metallocene PE. Both resins have been specially modified to enhance adhesion of the layers. The result: a tough, low cost, machineable tank with very low permeation to Fuel C and CE10.
