We manufacture numerous grades of H2O2 to serve the special needs of the different markets which are our customers.

The major end-uses of our hydrogen peroxide are bleaching wood pulp for paper, bleaching textiles, cosmetics and antiseptics, cleaning circuit boards, waste water treatment and food preparation.

Arkema has a range of hydrogen peroxide 3%, 30%, 35%, 50%, 60%, 70% distilled and stabilised grades whose formulations are adapted to specific applications, the Peroxal® grades, characterised by strict production control and high purity. The metal and carbon content of the Peroxal® are lower than for the technical grades.

Peroxal® D (50, 60%)

Pure oxidation agent, specifically used for:

  • Chemical synthesis and production of oxidation compounds
  • High purity oxidation reaction

Peroxal® DS (35%, 50%, 60%, 70%)

Pure oxidation agent, specifically used for:

  • Chemical synthesis and production of oxidation compounds
  • High purity oxidation reaction

The Peroxal® DS grades are more stabilised than the Peroxal® D grades, they meet the Food Chemical Codex requirements.

Peroxal® PG (30%, 35%, 50%)

Specifically designed for the pharmaceutical industry:

  • Allows further dilution without restabilization
  • Reduces risks of decomposition and of packaging expansion
  • High purity product (produced with distilled H2O2)
  • DMF Health Ministry - Approval N° 88-45
  • Peroxal® PG purity conforms with the purity levels specified in the European Pharmacopoeia

Peroxal® OG (3%, 30%)

Specifically designed for contact lens cleaning and the pharmaceutical industry:

  • Allows further dilution and the addition of NaCl in order to obtain 0,9% solutions
  • Reduces risks of decomposition and of packaging expansion
  • DMF Health Ministry - Approval N° 88-48
  • Peroxal® OG purity conforms with the purity levels specified in the European Pharmacopoeia
