Our Products and Markets

The Carrollton plant produces Certincoat® glass coating, heat stabilizers and industrial catalysts.  Our plant produces more than 100 products that can be found in homes, offices and recreation areas around the country. Our Certincoat® glass coating is used by glass container manufacturers to protect bottles and jars from scratches. Heat stabilizers are compounds added to PVC to slow down color development during processing and to extend the life of the product. They are used by plastics manufacturers to add strength and durability to vinyl siding, window frames gutters, plastic pipes for plumbing and plastic bottles.

Community Involvement

  • Community Advisory Panel (CAP) – This panel was established in collaboration with Dow Corning, another local chemical company, in order to give residents a voice. CAP members meet monthly to ask questions, offer suggestions, and talk about issues that are important to them and their neighbors. The CAP establishes yearly goals and has a budget funded by both companies to use for community concerns.
  • Carroll County Recycling Center – The center was developed and is operated at our site.
  • Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day – Hazardous materials like old batteries, pesticides and other hazardous waste are collected at the site and disposed of by qualified personnel.
  • Drug Disposal – We assist local and state police by using our incinerator to burn illegal drugs which have been confiscated as well as old prescription drugs which have been collected for safe disposal.
  • Carroll County Emergency Notification System – This system was donated to the community.  Designed to provide residents with up-to-date information about various emergencies, both natural and man-made.

Local Associations/Events We Sponsor
