Medium oxygen barrier structures Construction
Multilayer structures used for the packaging of meat, fish and cheese with a standard shelf life.

Commonly used barrier materials for this type of packaging are polyamides.
PA, OREVAC, PE, EVA, EBA
Specific grades of Grafted Orevac™ Resins are designed to reach high adhesion between polyamides and polyolefins.

High oxygen barrier structures Construction
EVOH based multi layer structures are generally used for lamination, lids and vacuum packaging.The oxygen barrier material for these applications is EVOH, providing a longer shelf life. PP, OREVAC, EVOH, OREVAC PP

Aluminum Based Structures Construction
PP based Grafted Orevac™ Resins are used in these lid structures for re-sealable packaging.

Adhesive Orevac™ Resins are available with suitable rheology for extrusion coatings.
Aluminium OREVAC PP
Grafted Orevac™ Resins are used in the production of multi-layer structures that combine the performance of a polyolefin (mechanical resistance, sealing or water barrier properties) with that of an oxygen barrier material such as polyamides or EVOH copolymers such as Soarnol® copolymer.
Grafted Orevac™ Resins are anhydride grafted polyolefins based on PE, EVA, EMA or PP. Anhydride provides the polarity and reactivity which give high adhesion levels on various substrates such as: Polyamides, EVOH, PET or Aluminium. By the right selection in the Grafted Orevac™ Resins range, the polyolefin based backbone induces outstanding compatibility and adhesion with the polyolefins used in the outer layers of the multilayer structure.
All Grafted Orevac™ Resins are suitable for use on coextrusion equipment designed for polyolefin processing. The rheology of each grade is well-suited to the implementation of multi-layer techniques: blown or cast film coextrusion, sheet coextrusion, blow molding coextrusion, coextrusion coating, etc.



Sheet barrier structures Construction
Orevac™ Resin multilayer structures are suitable for thermoformed packaging for meat, fresh salad and snacks.Commonly used barrier materials for these applications are EVOH and PET. PS, OREVAC, EVOH, OREVAC PE
Grafted Orevac™ Resins bond PS, PET or EVOH efficiently to polyolefins, and are suitable for thermoforming. PP, OREVAC, EVOH, OREVAC PP



Blow Mold Coextrusion Construction
Blow mold coextrusion allows bottles with an Orevac™ Resin multi layer structure to be produced for soups, fruit juices and sauces.Orevac™ Resin based multilayer structures provide good barrier properties to oxygen.

Grafted Orevac™ Resins provide outstanding adhesion to PA or EVOH barrier materials and are available with suitable rheology for blow molding processing.
