Very low extractables
Semiconductor

Fluid handling components made with Kynar® PVDF and Kynar Flex® PVDF are very pure and have very low leachable levels even in hot environments. This purity feature makes Kynar® PVDF and Kynar Flex® PVDF an industry standard material for handling high purity deionized (DI) water.

Kynar® resin is very resistant to acids and combined with its purity makes it suitable for handling high purity nitric, sulfuric, hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids and etching solutions.

Specific Kynar® PVDF grades and foams meet the flame and smoke requirements of FM 4910, ASTM E84 (25/50), and ULC S102.2, which can lead to reduced insurance premiums in Fab areas.
