The Luperox® Organic Peroxides line of products is essential to produce such plastics as PVC, PS, LDPE, PS, PMMA, UPR, etc. The chemical reactions that convert vinyl chloride to PVC for plastic pipe and vinyl house siding or ethylene to polyethylene for plastic bags, have one thing in common: an organic peroxide was used to initiate the polymerization reaction to form the plastic resin.
