Arkema's, Thiochemicals operates four manufacturing facilities in Beaumont and Houston, Texas;  Axis, Alabama; and overseas facilities in Europe and Asia. Our international manufacturing capabilities assure supply continuity of thio and fine chemicals for customers in every corner of the world.

Arkema holds numerous patents covering today and tomorrow's preferred manufacturing processes for organosulfurs. Our facilities provide flexibility in process capability to fulfill all volume demands of our customers. Three of our facilities are seaport operations further ensuring product availability to meet customer requirements around the globe.

The largest raw material consumed in our thio and fine chemicals processes is hydrogen sulfide (H2S). At Arkema, we purchase, produce, and consume H2S for manufacture of mercaptans utilizing the latest technology. These mercaptans are further reacted to produce unique sulfur chemicals to meet a variety of application needs.
