Kynar^® Films Provide Enhanced Stain Removal

Kynar^® films have a high fluorine content (59% by weight, compared to PVF at only 41%), which results in extreme chemical resistance and stain repellency. Preserve aesthetics with minimal maintenance!

• Common food stains are easily removed with soap and water
• Permanent marker can be removed with alcohol
• Graffiti can be removed with appropriate solvents, without harming the film or the substrate beneath it

To compare dirt-shedding behavior, two stain agents (carbon black and an iron oxide slurry) were rubbed onto the substrates (a Kynar^® coating and a conventional acrylic coating), and then washed off with water. The results are strikingly different, with the Kynar^® coating providing much more efficient dirt shedding.
