Biostrength® 200 and 150 Impact Modifier Biostrength® 200 and Biostrength® 150 are core-shell impact modifiers for polyactic acid (PLA). Biostrength® 200 is designed for use in clear applications, while Biostrength® 150 is a higher efficiency modifier for use in opaque applications.
Biostrength® 700 Melt Strength Enhancer Biostrength® 700 is an acrylic copolymer that significantly enhances the melt strength of PLA, enabling improved processability in foaming; biaxilly oriented and blown films; melt blown and extruded fiber; and the extrusion and thermoforming of thinned walled sheet.
Biostrength® 900 Metal Release Agent Biostrength® 900 is an acrylic copolymer that acts as a metal release agent in PLA, reducing sticking time on processing equipment and improving the flow characteristics of PLA in injection molding applications. Below is an example of our Biostrength® 900. PLA on a two roll mill at 160 ºC: Neat PLA-PLA sticks to the mill and is difficult to remove. 
3% Biostrength® 900-PLA can be pulled off the mill. 
5% Biostrength® 900-PLA easily releases from the mill in one piece.
