Acrylic-based Durastrength^® acrylic impact modifiers are free flowing powders designed to deliver optimum cost/performance in PVC profile, siding, fence, pipe and injection molding compounds. Durastrength^® products offer superb weatherability, improved processing with better flow, more even pigment dispersion and heat stability, as well as greater impact strength even at low temperatures. 

Introducing Arkema's newest addition to the Engineering Resin line - Durastrength® 410. Durastrength® 410 is a high efficiency acrylic impact modifier that imparts toughness to select PC products while improving the flowability of the compound during processing.  Because of the exceptional properties of Durastrength® 410, less loading will give the same impact and improved flow behavior when compared to other acrylic impact modifiers.  These values are desirable to all manufacturers.  Durastrength® 410 enables easier manufacturing and more durable end use properties in select PC formulations such as PC/ABS.  Durastrength® 410 can be used in a variety of applications including injection molded and extruded products.

Durastrength^® 3000 is a low cost acrylic impact modifier that imparts excellent impact properties to rigid PVC products and provides outstanding processability.  It can be used in place of alternative non-acrylic impact modifiers while maintaining the processing advantages of traditional acrylic impact modifiers.  Intended uses are substrate applications needing good impact properties along with easy processing such as siding substrate, fence and deck substrate, as well as other nonweatherable applications. 

Durastrength^® 535 is an acrylic impact modifier that imparts excellent impact properties to rigid PVC products and provides outstanding processability without adding process aids for most applications. Durastrength^® 535 offers formulation flexibility through a combination of excellent impact resistance and processability. Superior impact performance can be used to improve properties or decrease modifier loading at constant performance.  It can be used as a high efficiencly modifier system for siding, window profile and pipe fitting and conduit.  It is also suitable for all outdoor/weatherable PVC applications.

Durastrength^® 510 is an acrylic modifier that imparts superior impact properties and processability to rigid vinyl products at lower acrylic use levels. Durastrength^® 510 offers outstanding room and low temperature impact in combination with unsurpassed ease of processing. The unique properties of Durastrength^® 510 make it especially suitable for vinyl siding and fence substrate formulations where high filler levels and high production rates put maximum stress on the formulation.

Due to its unique process aid functionality, Durastrength^® 510 eliminates the need for added process aid in formulations that it is used to modify. This efficiency typically enables a reduction in total acrylic level needed in most formulations.

Durastrength^® 506 is an acrylic modifier that imparts high impact properties and processability to rigid vinyl products. Durastrength^® 506 offers outstanding room and low temperature impact in combination with unsurpassed ease of processing. The unique properties of Durastrength^® 506 make it especially suitable for injection molding applications. Additionally, the excellent processability, flawless surface finish and high gloss imparted by Durastrength^® 506 make it a natural for window and door profile applications where these properties are key.

Durastrength^® 400 series impact modifiers are based on novel, patented, all-acrylic chemistries that provide low temperature toughening beyond that of conventional acrylic impact modifiers in engineering resins (polycarbonate, polyesters, and polycarbonate blends).
