CELOCOR^™opaque polymer compares favorably to commercially available competitive products with a balance of key properties that gives you wide formulating latitude to achieve your objectives.

Comparable Wet and Dry Hide Performance

Wet and dry hide performance were measured by incorporating CELOCOR^™ opaque polymer and two competitive commercial opaque polymers into individual formulations for a high quality interior flat latex paint. In both formulations CELOCOR^™ opaque polymer provided hiding performance comparable to competitive products.

One formulation was based on ENCOR^™ 634 100% acrylic binder.
One formulation was based on ENCOR^™ 309 vinyl acrylic binder.

Tint Strength Performance

Using the same formulations noted above, tint strength performance was measured against a control formulation with no opacifier. CELOCOR^™ opaque polymer provides comparable or improved performance compared to competitive products.
