Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy AnalysisNuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is a powerful technique for determining material structure and composition.

Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is a powerful research and problem-solving tool for structure elucidation of a wide range of materials from small molecules to polymers, including inorganic, organic and composite materials.  The technique provides detailed molecular information to enable in-depth understanding of composition, chemical structure, morphology, and reaction kinetics and mechanisms.  NMR is particularly useful in the analysis of small molecules such as pharmaceuticals, UV stabilizers, and anti-oxidants, but can also be used to characterize polymers used in drug delivery, coatings, and structural forms.

The NMR laboratory at Arkema Analytical Solutions provides liquid state and solid state studies.  We also posses gel state, mixed liquid and solid state, and high temperature melt state (450° C) capabilities using instrumentation with magnetic field strengths ranging from 300 MHz to 500 MHz.
